   Generally, an UG filter has two pipes that go down into the base. Depending on the size, and make of the filter, they will either have two airstones going down into them, or two air tubes going into a carbon filter that sits just above the waterline. The only reasons it would not be comming out one side would be that the airflow is not strong enough. You have too much air flow in the bubbling one. Twist the valuve tighter on it until some comes out the other side. If you have more than two on it you will have little air flow as well. Make sure the other valves are closed tightly and that the tubing is conected well at the valve and at the airstone, if it has one. Look at the bottom of the air pump. What is the air outage strength? It sound by at least 60.
