Arm tattoo…..left or right arm?

I wanna get a tattoo, a big one, an arm-to-chest tattoo, but i dont want it to go below the elbow, i wanna keep it half sleeved but it to also go onto my chest. The style i want to get is custom made, im having it done by a friend who happens to be a tattoo artist so im getting buy prescription drugs without prescription a real great deal, i want to fuse celtic, tribal and maori into one! sounds crazy but the vision i have in my mind is sick!lmao. But what i was wondering is, what side would it look best on? I know its all about personal preference but im a righty, and i was thinking about getting it on my left side, it just feels right on that side, but a friend told me if im a righty it should go on the right, but i look at it like wearing a watch, what ever side you are it goes on the opposite, thats just me,lol. So, does it matter that much to get it on my left side if im a righty???lol. Stupid question, i know,lol
