Help with a tattoo design?!?

I'm leaving for boot camp in about 2 months and would like to get a tattoo before I leave. I dint want any crazy tats or any colored ones. Just something on the forearm or maybe a half sleeve. I want something with meaning but cant really find anything really cool.

I'm into the Maori looking tats but don't you need to be from that lifestyle?
